2025 marks the 6th Annual Ramadan Food Hamper Program by Ottawa Muslim Community Services (OMCS).
Since 2019, this initiative has brought together community partners and generous donors like you to support families across the National Capital Region with essential food items for Ramadan.
Together, we’ve made a meaningful impact, delivering over 1,200 food hampers to families in need during this sacred month.
This year, our goal is to support 500 registered families, including many newcomers and refugees living in poverty.

Thanks to our incredible partnerships with Human Concern International, Boys and Girls Club, Britannia Woods, and the Provincial Youth Outreach Team, and collaborations with Tarbiyah Learning Academy, Abraar Secondary School, and Al Furqan School, we’ve already reached 75% of our goal.
Last year the need for hampers far outpaced our supply.
With the rise in food costs and increasing food insecurity, this project is as important as ever!
