To manage your own directory listing, you'll need to have a user account. This way, you can login whenever you need to make updates and changes to your directory listing(s).
1. To create a user account, click on "Login" in the top right corner.
2. Click on “Register to create a user account. You can also sign up using your Facebook or Google accounts for faster registration. If you already have a user account, login and skip to step 4.
3. Fill in details to create your user account.
4. Once you're logged in, go to the page of your directory listing by entering the URL or navigating through the directory to get to the page.
5. On the page of your directory listing, click on the green "Manage this Listing" button.
6. Click on the "Claim Listing" button.
7. Check your email and follow the instructions. The email has the options you can do to speed up your claim. These options will also complete the verification process and your account will be linked with your business/organization listing.
(Note: Take note of your unique ID#. This varies for every listing).
8. The first option is the phone option. Simply give us a call from your business phone at (1-877-5465-101), using extension 8. Please make sure your caller ID is unblocked. Leave a message with your name, business name, and the ID#.
9. The second option is the email option. Reply to this email with your business email address. Include your name, business name, and the ID#. We'll verify your claim by checking the email address linked to your business website or social media page.
10. Lastly, there's the slowest option. Within 7 days, we'll try contacting you at your business phone number. We'll ask the person who answers for your ID# and the username you used to log in to Muslim Link. If you logged in through a social media account, we'll request the associated email address – no passwords involved.
11. Once done with any of the options, wait for the admin approval. If you visit the listing page, you can see that the claim is pending and now processing.
12. After verifying, you will get an email saying that the business listing is now assigned to you.
13. You can see on the page of the directory listing that it is already claimed.
14. You can also go to the user menu then click “My Listings”. You can see that the listing is now yours.
15. Click the “Edit/Upgrade” button to edit the listing.
16. You can change all the information here. You can also change the logo or add more images to the listing.
17. Most importantly, you can upgrade your directory listing on Muslim Link to be more visible to readers by featuring it.
