We need answers to the following questions:

Why isn't Canada issuing visas to families that have managed to leave Gaza into Egypt, given the difficulty of obtaining exit permits from Gaza?

What justifies the delay in processing TRVs submitted over three months ago under the new measures? Why complicate matters by linking them with unissued codes?

Why are there unwarranted delays in the processing of applications (stage 2 & 3) for Gaza families under this urgent program? Is there a belief that delaying visas will deter people from seeking refuge in Canada?

Why are Canadians with Palestinian heritage unfairly and unsubstantially stereotyped and treated as a security risk under the new program?

Why are Gazan civilians, with direct family connections to Canada, who are fleeing war treated differently from Ukrainian civilians, with no connection to Canada, who are also fleeing war? Does the Canadian government decide whose life is worthy of saving based on the people's skin color and religion?

With only 12 visas issued in three months, is it reasonable to expect the remaining visas for families will take ten years? Why is the government not being transparent about processing times?

Why is there a lack of involvement from Global Affairs in the process, especially in coordinating with other authorities at Rafah borders?

Why is there a disconnect between the work of Global Affairs and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)?
