As part of Islamic History Month Canada and Islamic Heritage Month Manitoba, we are thrilled to highlight a very special event that contributes to our understanding and appreciation of Islamic scholarship and intellectual heritage.
Join us on October 19, 2024, at the Winnipeg Central Mosque for the Launch of Volume II of the Integrated Encyclopedia of the Qur’an. This unique project delves into the profound knowledge contained within the Qur’an, presenting an integrated perspective on various concepts, persons, places, and events based on fourteen centuries of Muslim scholarship.
Writer: Muzaffar Iqbal, President of the Center for Islamic Sciences. Dr. Iqbal is a distinguished scholar whose research and publications have focused on the relationship between Islam and modernity, the intersection of science and Islamic thought, and Qur’anic studies. As the General Editor of the Integrated Encyclopedia of the Qur’an and Series Editor of Islam and Science: Historic and Contemporary Perspectives, he has made significant contributions to Islamic scholarship globally.
We invite everyone to be part of this enriching experience, where we celebrate the scholarly achievements of our community and engage in a deeper exploration of our shared heritage.
