Islamic History Month: Movie and Culture Night
Join us at the Arts Resource Centre in Oshawa for a family friendly night filled with food, discussion, a movie screening, and more celebrating Islamic History Month! It's a great opportunity to learn and appreciate the diverse heritage of the Islamic community. Don't miss out on this enlightening and fun event! Everyone is welcome!
Registration is free but space is limited. Please register early as you need a ticket to attend. If you are no longer able to attend, please email diversity@oshawa.ca to free up the space for someone else.

About the Movie
Peace by Chocolate is a 2021 Canadian drama film, directed, produced, edited, and co-written by Jonathan Keijser. The film is based on the true story of the Hadhads, a family from Syria who moved to Canada as refugees from the Syrian civil war, settling in Antigonish, Nova Scotia and establishing the Peace by Chocolate artisanal chocolate shop.
