Art for Freedom: Silent Auction for Tent Schools in Gaza and Sudan

Une vente aux enchères pour toutes sortes d'arts (tatreez, thobe, calligraphie, tattoos etc) pendant une après-midi remplie de performances live et de rassemblement. Nous organisons un programme qui inclue de la poésie, du chant et bien plus! Nous servons aussi de la délicieuse nourriture (merci à la communauté!) tout le long de l'après-midi.

Come to our Ramadan fundraiser! Auctioning all sorts of art (tatreez, thobe, calligraphy, paintings, tattoos, and more) during an afternoon of live performances and community gatherings. The event program includes live poetry, singing, and more! Delicious food made by community members will be served throughout the afternoon.

We are excited to host: Art for Freedom: A Silent Auction, an event dedicated to supporting four children schools, two in New Halfa City, Sudan and two in Gaza, Palestine. Our goal is to provide these children with food during the Ramadan celebrations and we would love for you to join us in making this dream a reality!

Time: 3pm - 7pm

Pay What You Can: $10 to $15 

Raffle: $5

ACCESSIBILITY: wheelchair ramp, parking available, elevators and we will be distributing N95s for free. We highly appreciate everyone that masks as it’ll help the event be as accessible as possible

In face of the terrible and oppressive realities in both Palestine and Sudan, many children remain hopeful of peace and excited for the upcoming Ramadan celebrations. To support these kids, several artists have donated powerful, politically charged pieces for auction at Art for Freedom on Saturday!

Every raffle ticket, donation, and share helps make a difference. Let’s come together to help these kids celebrate Ramadan amidst the genocides!

Please RSVP via the link below (also in our bio) to help us estimate guest numbers. While the Eventbrite listing shows the event as free, we’ll be collecting entry donations at the door. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
