Islamic Family Refugee Sponsorship: Information Sessions

IslamicFamily is hosting information sessions for individuals in the Edmonton area interested in sponsoring refugees through the refugee sponsorship process.

These sessions will guide you through the application process and provide an opportunity to ask questions.

Attendance at one of the three in-person events is mandatory to submit an application.

This year, applications for people interested in sponsoring refugees will be open from February 3rd, 2025 to March 3rd, 2025.

Session Dates:

• Sunday, February 2nd, 2025, at 2 PM
• Saturday, February 15th, 2025, at 12 PM
• Sunday, March 9th, 2025, at 2 PM*

*Please note: The March 9th session takes place after the application submission deadline but provides a final opportunity for those who missed earlier sessions to still complete their applications.

IslamicFamily is a federally approved Sponsorship Agreement Holder (SAH) and provides step-by-step support to private co-sponsors throughout the refugee sponsorship process.
