Join us for an open mic plus collage-making session. Get ready to cut up some magazines and get creative while listening to and telling stories of collective resilience. This is a platform for refugees, multi-generational immigrants, and Indigenous people, taking the lead in their own stories of joy, hardship, and resilience.
This will also be an opportunity for you to participate in the Roots on Six Zine if you wish to submit some of your creations during the event for publishing. You can learn more about the zine by visiting the Roots on Six website here.
Please wear comfortable clothing, and socks. Our space is a shoe-free zone and racks are located outside the front door for shoe storage.
