Sister Sabria Foundation Fundraising Dinner

The aim of this fundraising campaign is to enable the Sister Sabria Foundation to advance payment for the building, and to manage the association.

Sister Sabria has dedicated over 30 years of her life to the Montreal community. Along the way, she has helped feed thousands of needy and homeless people, offered shelter to vulnerable women, provided meals to university students and countless other works. Sister Sabria is a truly influential figure in our community's humanitarian efforts. The passion behind her motivation has always been fueled by the pure intention of pleasing Allah(swt).

In order to develop the incredible humanitarian work that characterizes Sister Sabria's efforts, Sister Sabria Foundation was created in 2017 and acquired the center in which it now stands five years ago.

As a non-profit organization, SSF strives to make a difference by offering charitable and faith-based events and programs to the community. However, its programs have suffered an unfortunate blow since the pandemic. This has made it a challenge for the center to repay the various loans used to purchase the building. Not to mention that the center's maintenance costs alone amount to around $3,000 a month. Because of these constraints, SSF is now on the verge of having to close its doors.
