Sheikh Yousef Wahb is the Imam at the Windsor Islamic Association.
He graduated from Al Azhar University in the Faculty of Languages and Translation, Islamic Studies in the English Language as well as Al-Azhar Institute of Quranic modes of Recitation, Advanced Level Qira'at ('Aliyah al-Qira'at). Sheikh Yousef worked as an Imam in various mosques for over eight years, and brings a wealth of knowledge and Da3wa experience that includes:
Certificates in Quran (Ijazat):
- Certified to recite and teach the mode of Hafs by Shaykh Mosa'ad Sa'd
- Certified to recite and teach the ten modes of recitation (al-Qira'at al-'Ashr) according to the path of "al-Shatibiyah" and "al-Dorrah" by Shaykh Sobhy Mujahid.
- Certified to teach the primary sources of the Quranic modes of recitation: Matn al-Shatibyah and al-Dorrah by Shaykh Sobhy Mujahid.
- Certified to teach Matn Tuhfat al-Atfal and al-Jazariyah by Shaykh Osama Shehab.
Certificates in Hadith (Ijazat):
- Awarded a certificate in "Al-Muwatta'" of Imam Malik by Shaykh 'Isam Anas.
- Awarded a certificate by Dr. Nur al-Deen 'Itr, a world renowned Hadith scholar, upon the completion of a lecture series on the book "Nuzhat al-Nazar" in the science of hadith administered in al-Azhar mosque.
- Awarded a certificate in "The Forty Nawawi Hadiths" by Dr.Nur al-Deen 'Itr
