Tahera Kassamali

Tahera Kassamali is the Ladies Religious Advisor at the Islamic Shia Ithna Asheri Jamaat of Toronto where she is available to provide religious guidance to women based on Islamic Shariah and Ja’fari Madhab tenets.

She has a B.A. with honors in English literature from the University of Alberta and a B.Ed from the University of British Columbia. She has also studied in the hawzas (religious education institutions) of the Middle East.
