Ehsaan Ansari

Ustadh Ehsaan Ansari was born and raised in Toronto. His journey for seeking knowledge began in 2003. He completed his Hifdh in 2005, and studied a few primers in the Islamic Sciences. He was accepted to the Islamic University of Madinah in 2008, where he he went on to complete a diploma in Arabic. In 2015 he completed his BA in Islamic Law, specializing in Fiqh (Jurisprudence) and Usool Al-Fiqh (Principles of Jurisprudence) from the Faculty of Sharee'ah. In 2016, he completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Aqeedah (Theology) and Da'wah (Propogation) from the Faculty of Dawah and Usool Ad-Deen.

Ustadh Ehsaan has been active within the community delivering classes, Khutbas, courses, leading Taraweeh and Qiyam Al-Layl since 2004. He is also the advisor at Islamreligion.com and Newmuslims.com, helping hundreds of people accept Islam and helping New Muslims in their struggles. He has also hosted Radio Programs on Islam on 770 AM. He has worked with Dar el Salam Travel for many years, as a group leader for Hajj and Umrah.

During his stay in Madinah, the Ustadh completed his Ijaazah in Quran in the recitations of Hafs and Shu'bah from one of the senior teachers of Madinah, Shaykh Bashir Ahmad Siddique, teacher of the late Muhammad Ayyub and Imam of the Prophet's Mosque Abdul Muhsin Al-Qasim.

He has studied many classical texts in the areas of Fiqh, Aqeedah, Usool Al-Fiqh, Al-Qawaaid Al-Fiqhiyya, Tafseer, Hadeeth, Mustalah Al-Hadeeth, Nahw, and Sarf.
