Muslim Educators Network of Durham (MEND)

Our mission is to create safe inclusive environments for Durham's Muslim community and all identities and communities alike, whereby students, parents, and educators are empowered to use voice to actively engage the education system.

Partnering with educators, parents and students, MEND is committed to helping create opportunities for students to achieve high levels of success through the design and implementation of best practices that support the needs of Muslim students.

Supporting the leadership development of network members through community partnerships and professional opportunities, MEND aims to remove barriers and build bridges leading to the success of all.
