Toronto Mawlid

Toronto Mawlid is an opportunity for believers to gather in an open and safe space for the purpose of praising Allah and sending salutations on His Beloved Messenger, Muhammad, upon him be peace and blessings. With the recitation of verses from the Qur’an, “The Shimmering Light” of Al-Habib ‘Umar bin Hafidh, and familiar qasidas, we hope hearts will come alive and pulsate to the rhythm of love of Allah and His Messenger. We are hoping to bring our GTA community together monthly to collectively praise Allah, send salawat upon His Beloved through the Quran, nasheed, qasaid and other songs of praise.
