About Lote Tree The Lote Tree Learning and Resource Centre was founded in 2003 by Shaikh Zahir Bacchus and Saeed Shaikh with a vision of building a strong, healthy Muslim community through the development of true and virtuous individuals – young and old. The Lote Tree Learning and Resource Centre is currently a multi-purpose centre that acts as a musalla and offers full-time hifdh classes, children’s aqida classes, evening Islamic classes for school-aged children, a home schooling resource centre, as well as hosting events and lectures for the community. Lote Tree’s Vision To build a strong and healthy community through the development of true and virtuous individuals. Lote Tree’s Mission To establish an institution which will fulfill the needs of those seeking to learn under the guidance of classically trained teachers.
