Alhamdullilah this is a fairly new masjid bought to service the needs of the burgeoning Muslim community in Courtice, Bowmanville, Newcastle and other surrounding villages. We are located at 1660 King Street (Highway 2), just near the intersection of King Street and Trulls Road in Courtice. The building used to be a church so it retains some of We offer salat (prayer) here 5 times a day and also Taraweeh in the month of Ramadan inshallah. We also have a variety of youth and community programs, such as a monthly BBQ/Potluck on the first Sunday of every month, a Qu’ran class at 5pm every weekday, a highschool halaqa every Friday at 5, a youth activities night every Wednesday evening, and a monthly youth sleepover. Inshallah further programs are in development. Visitors are always welcome!
