Taleem is a weekend school dedicated to the study of Islam on several levels.
The motivation behind an Islamic Weekend School is to inculcate and foster Islamic teachings according to the Quran & Sunnah, for the children and youth of the community.
In addition to catering to the needs of young children, “Taleem” is also offering an educational program for adults and teens (over 15 yrs of age) for learning Quranic Arabic. Taleem’s Arabic program is based on the curriculum followed by Madinah University for Non-Native Speakers. Popularly known as “Madinah Books”, the program was created by world renowned scholar Dr. V Abdur Rahim, a Ph.D in Arabic language. He taught at Madinah University for 26 years and is now serving as Director of Translation at King Fahad Printing Complex in Madinah. Additionally this course is used all over the world for its effectiveness and utility; students are expected to increase their understanding of the Quran.
The program comprises three books, covering grammatical concepts and referring directly to the Quranic text (Surahs and Aayaats).
The instructor is Br. Salman Rizwan, who is a graduate of this program himself and is mentored by Dr. V Abdur Rahim personally.
