Imran Ally is the official Imam and Shaykh (Scholar) at the TARIC Islamic Centre where he continues to be in service since 2000 making him one of the very few longest employed Imams serving at one Masjid/Islamic Centre in Canada.

Imam Shaykh Ally has received numerous accolades and recognitions for his work and service to society.
In 2007, Imam Shaykh Ally supported his wife Kameeza who founded Yusuf’s Day of Hope (YDOH), a not-for-profit fundraising initiative named after their second son, who suffers from a rare genetic disorder. What started off as a humble undertaking of ‘giving back’ – YDOH has currently raised over $220,000 for the Norman Saunders Complex Care Initiative at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
In a typical address to Muslim gatherings, the Imam Shaykh Ally is popularly known for saying “if you’re not making a positive difference in your community – there is a deficiency in your understanding and practice of Islam.”
Imam Shaykh Ally and his wife enjoy a blissful marriage and they are blessed with three young sons (Musa, Yusuf, and Sauleh).
