After graduating, I worked at CAMH (Centre for Addiction and Mental Health) as an Art Therapist in the women's program. I also taught at an Islamic School (Suffah Academy) as an Art Teacher for almost 3 years. I am a self-taught artist and have created art in various form. Over the years, as I started learning more about Islam and the Islamic history, I started valuing the Islamic art and Arabic calligraphy. Eventually I became passionate about it because of its divinity and beauty that now my focus is mainly Islamic Art. I love to create Islamic art pieces inspired by the Qur’anic verses, as they not only beautify our living spaces, but also become beautiful reminders for us to remember Allah constantly.
