Ali (Alex) Ghadbane who left us after a spirited fight with cancer. Ali was a dedicated religious man who worked within the Ottawa community for the betterment of all. He gave, but never asked for recognition. Ali never missed a charitable event. He also loved the game of golf, he was challenged by it and became fairly accomplished. He became a member at various clubs, the last one was at Camelot in Cumberland. He was a gracious host for family and friends he brought to the course. Ali is best remembered for being a strong family man, an avid golfer and charitable person. He left us too early with a few unfinished projects. The funds raised will be spent locally to support Ottawa cancer patients as well as to finance projects at the Ottawa Mosque. We are hopeful that your tournament sponsorship will greatly increase the money directed towards both of these well deserving causes.
