Afghan Students Association in Vancouver

Afghanistan is a nation that Canada has been directly involved with for 14 years and most of what people know is from a political or military perspective. In addition to shedding light on these issues, our aim is to share Afghan culture and to rejoice through social events and programs, in hopes to diminish unfamiliarity students may feel towards Afghans or Afghanistan. More importantly, we would like to offer a platform for Afghan students to get further involved within their own community. We will do this by bridging Vancouver Afghan organizations and Afghan students to foster positive relationships by coordinating organizational needs and student’s interests.
