Muslim Medical Association of Canada (MMAC) Ottawa Chapter

MMAC uOttawa consists of a group of approximately 30 Muslim medical students – both pre-clerks and clerks. This year we have expanded our group to include Muslim residents as well. We have a strong Muslim community Alhamdullilah and try to meet once a month for a fun activity. Often we get together for dinner at various Halal restaurants to catch up and mentor each other, but we have had other fun events such as bowling and potlucks. We also mentored pre-med students and providing coaching and mock interviews to applicants. We had a 6/7 acceptance rate mashAllah.
