The name’s Masad, Masad Salim. I’m an interactive + web + graphic designer, whose love for photography, traveling, eating and drinking chai tea makes up most of her day. I design. I create. I imagine. I currently live in Ottawa, Ontario, and have brought with me experiences from other parts of the world. I was born on a small island in Tanzania, was raised in the United Arab Emirates, and spent a lot of my childhood– some of my teenage years–in the United States. I have mastered Swahili, English, and a bit of Arabic, and speak Creativity well. I love communicating, and am told that it is my ability to make people comfortable, that stands out. My love for art developed since the tender age of twelve, and has ever since been flourishing. My first experiments with art involved clay, ceramic, and lots and lots of watercolour. Since graduation from Graphic Design in 2010: I freelance, have landed positions in small design studios, and have completed many projects (e.g. posters, websites, logos, etc.) with an unwavering dedication to grow and learn.
