The Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre

The Royal is a specialized mental health centre to treat people with complex and serious mental illness across Eastern Ontario. The expertise of our staff spans all areas of mental health. The Royal’s team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, occupational therapist, social workers, recreation therapists, addictions counsellors, child and youth counsellors, pharmacists, speech therapists and dieticians as well as spiritual and religious services. Family Information and Support Groups: Family and friends who want to go into the aspects of coping with illness in greater detail meet on the first and third Tuesday of the month. We have arranged a roster of topics and questions unrelated to these subjects are always welcome. Registration is not required.
