Ilm Foundation

ILM Foundation is an organization and center whose purpose is to transmit a mainstream and relevant understanding and vision of Islam both to Muslims and non-Muslims. It does so by teaching the core sciences of Islam (law, theology, spirituality, tafsir, hadith), offering programmes for spiritual nourishment and growth, and maintaining social ties. In all its activities, ILM Foundation strives to uphold the rigorous methods and spirit of Sunni scholarship while adapting to its present context, hence providing an opportunity for relevant and critical learning as well as a holistic appreciation of the various dimensions of Islam. While socially aware and engaged, ILM maintains a non-partisan and non-political stance.
