Sakeenah Homes is a transitional home for Muslim women and children who may be facing violence, homelessness, financial or immigration issues. Our mission is to establish a network of sheltering projects which provide a safe and nurturing environment that they may be given equal opportunities to excel, grow, and thrive with respect and dignity.

Our objective is to work closely with our clients, either in our homes or remotely, to provide a safe living environment while providing community support services through casework. 

Our main services, among many others include 5 transitional homes (Brampton, Toronto, London, Montreal and Ottawa), Canada-wide casework and mental health services. Our homes are completely confidential, addresses are never shared and have staff as well as 24 hour surveillance. All of our homes are safe, close to schools, public transit and essential shopping.

We also have a compilation of resources for every community that offer legal, financial, housing, mental health, immigration, employment services and more. We continue to build this resource list by reaching out to people and organizations who are committed to helping women and children.
