Ammar Halal Meats

Ammar Halal Meats opened in March of 2004, by brothers Ammar & Bashar. Since then we've grown and evolved but the heart of our business remains the same. We're a family owned shop focused on quality products and excellent service. All of the fresh meat found in our butcher shop is Ontario raised, in extremely humane conditions overlooked by Health Canada. "Halal", which means religiously permitted in Islam guarantees that the animals raised were done so with utmost respect and care for their well-being. It also means that the animals are hand-slaughtered and endure the least amount of pain possible in the process, with a religious blessing recited before each and every slaughtering. All of our meats are Halal Certified, and of the highest quality cuts found in Ontario surpassing rigorous health inspection by Health Canada, and the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA).
