Our story began in the early 2000s after a long journey across the world. In the heart of Westdale Village, Basilique has become a part of a vibrant community full of opportunity and passion.

Mamdouh Dahab, the owner of Basilique, journeyed from Egypt after graduating from a French Culinary School in Luxor, Egypt in 1984. He spent several years teaching before moving to Hamilton and establishing his own restaurant.

At Basilique, we are dedicated to serving the Hamilton Community as well as the McMaster Students. With a large menu and authentic recipes, there is definitely something for you to try!
