Uyghur Rights Advocacy Project (URAP), with granting provided by the National Endowment Fund for Democracy, is carrying out its program objectives according to two main categories: to document CCP policies targeting Uyghurs in China and globally; and to bolster human rights advocacy by developing and sharing resources with Uyghur organizations and activists.
The primary objective of URAP is to increase the political and public awareness on the unfolding Uyghur genocide committed by China and push for political action by the government of Canada to address the issue domestically and globally.
Uyghur Rights Advocacy Project works with multi-faith Canadian and international NGOs, members of academia, and think tank organizations in Canada to create strong public pressure on the Canadian government and political institutions to implement previously recommended policy actions by the International Human Rights Subcommittee on Oct, 21, 2020.
Uyghur Rights Advocacy Project aims to be the most credible, reliable and effective Uyghur organization that represents the Uyghur voice in Canada.
