Duha symbolizes a new beginning, hope, and the light of a new day. Just like the sunrise brings warmth and light, therapy can bring healing and transformation. At Duha Therapy, expect to be in a space that invites positivity, growth, and the pursuit towards new beginnings. As you work through your journey, you will be working collaboratively with your therapist to identify a path that aligns with your goals.
Our concept is unique in that we seek to combine Islamic wisdom with therapeutic interventions. We believe that a holistic healing plan encompasses trust in Allah (tawakkul) while engaging in healing work through therapy, which is esssentially tying our camel. When we put our trust in Allah and do our part in the worldy sense, we can expect to see life-changing results.
Faizah Latif is the Clinical Director of Duha Therapy. She is a Registered Social Worker with the OCSWSSW. She received her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Windsor in 2023. She has experience working with individuals and families from different walks of life. She works with clients to create a plan that works best for them rather than a cookie cutter approach. Nothing feels more rewarding than to empower clients towards positive change.
