Maple Lodge Farms Zabiha Halal Products

Our story began in 1990 when members of the Canadian Muslim community approached Maple Lodge Farms, a family-owned chicken processor in Brampton, Ontario, to request the creation of a range of affordable Halal chicken items including sliced meats, hot dogs and burgers.

Working hand in hand with the community and leading Muslim scholars and certification organizations from around the world, Maple Lodge Farms developed what became the nation’s first line of Halal food products.

From those humble beginnings, we continued to grow and evolve with the Muslim community, offering new products that meet our consumers’ desire for greater variety in Halal foods.

An Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of Canada auditor visits our plants on a regular basis to ensure that our Halal process is followed consistently.
