The National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM) and the Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA) strongly denounce the banning of most forms of prayer in Quebec schools.

As Muslims begin observing Ramadan, it’s a good time to consider the importance of building a strong sense of belonging at school. Affirming the identities of Muslim students and all minoritized and racialized learners is a way of creating a positive classroom culture.

Rivers of Hope is pleased to announce that we have received a 3-year, $85,000-per-year grant from Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Youth Opportunities Fund to challenge racism and Islamophobia in schools.

14 & Muslim is a CBC documentary that is inspiring important conversations and making a positive difference for youth across the country.
